My birthday!

So my birthday was last Saturday January 31st. On Friday my mom and I went up north we stopped at the mall just to look around and use the photo booth. Then we went and checked into our hotel. We went to dinner at Benihanas it's a place where they cook the food in front of you and toss knives in the air and toss shrimp into your mouth. I was so cool to watch! After that we went to walmart and got a bunch of junk food to have at the hotel we got gummie bears, kit kats, twizlers, white chocolate reeses, milk duds, and bubble gum to have bubble gum blowing contests! Which I won!! Hahaha then on Saturday we had breakfast I had a bunch of donuts hahaha then we just hung out in the hotel till it was time to check out then we went back to the mall and got pedicures and our eyebrows done! When I got home my friend Jen had come by earlier and decorated my house there was a sign and balloons and a birthday girl sash which I wore to the family dinner! This birthday was by far one of the best. I was glad that I got to share it with the ones I love!

Keller's Baptism! :)

So in our church once you turn eight you have the choice to get baptized. My cousin turned eight on December 26 and just got baptized this weekend January 17. It's crazy that such a small short prayer can make such and impact on him and others. So his dad who holds the priesthood is the one that will baptize him and then he has two other witnesses outside of the water to make sure that he makes it all the way under the water! It's a lot more difficult for girls cause our hair likes to float out of the water so we would have to go down a second time! Luckly for me I had my hair braided back so I didn't have to worry about that! Anyways... When you are submerged into the water all of your sins are forgotten and then every sunday you take the sacrament to renew for covenants. Then after you get baptized you go get into your sunday clothes and come back out to receive the Holy ghost! You have your family members like grandpas, uncles, etc. Any guy that worthily holds the priesthood will get in a circle around one hand on your hand then one hand on another guys shoulder while your father gives you the Holy ghost as well as give you a little blessing! It was such a great experience I was thinking about when I got baptized and when I sat on that chair!!
Anyways! Sorry that I haven't put anything up here in a while!!

                                                        Toodles!!

First day of high school seminary!

So I first started seminary at the Junior high! It was a class just filled with freshmen everyone was my age! But now I was transferred to the high school so that I could be there with my brother. I walk into the class and it's filled with people with people from sophomores to seniors and then there's me! A freshmen! But the teacher is amazing he's 27 so he is just as new to this as everyone else is. He does this cool thing that right before someone says the prayer he asks everyone if there is someone that needs to be in the prayer. Then he does a 5 minute session where we get our journals out and we write ways that we have seen the hand of God through out the week. He is really cool! And I'm really excited to go to seminary ALL THE TIME!

Cupcakes!!

So yesterday my friends Malin and I made cupcakes for young womens!! ! thought that you might want to see them! haha!

First day of actual home schooling! :)

So today I went to choir, my dad went to work, and Tyler went to his AG mechanics. After getting picked up we headed home to do math! I had already looked at the math and figured out how it works and the points for it. And sadly Tyler had never tried it before so I sat through 30 min of my brother freaking out every time he got a question right. For the first little bit it was fine but once it went on for the rest of the class it got really annoying really fast! See with Tyler he is like a 3 year old trapped in a 16 year old body! Now we are headed for English so I get to add stuff to my blog and read. I don't know what book I'm reading yet but you'll find out sooner or later.
I'll be checking in soon!! Bye!

I hope that this has given you an idea of my family! Enjoy the ride!

So today I'm starting a new blog for home school! It will have a bunch of fun things that I do with my family! There will also be some inspirational quotes, favorite songs, favorite meals of the week, and probably a lot of pictures that we will be taking on our adventures! So I'm basically doing a newsletter about my family! I hope you enjoy!
